If you send us a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email, and whatever you write, and we use it to reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not run you through a nurture sequence, and we do not sell or share it.
The product
CollectionsQA is deployed by an employer to supervise their own workforce. In that relationship the employer is the controller of the data and we are the processor: they decide what is collected, from whom, and for how long, within the limits the software enforces.
Those limits are deliberate. Nothing is collected from a computer until an administrator switches that capability on for that specific machine. Call recording and content capture additionally require a signed attestation stating the lawful basis and confirming staff were informed — until that exists, those endpoints do not collect at all. Stored content is retained for a stated window rather than indefinitely, and every access to a recording is logged against the person who made it.
If you are being monitored
If your employer uses this software and you have questions about what is collected about you, ask them first — they hold the configuration and the notice they are required to give you. If you cannot get an answer, write to us at contact@notyourbasiclocksmith.com and we will tell you what the software is capable of collecting, though we cannot disclose another organisation's data to you.
